They eased past Khimki on the road to complete the sweep of the championship series. Nando De Colo (196-SG-87) scored 20 points to pace the champions. CSKA silenced the hosts in the first term. The Moscow side triggered a massive 34:12 run in the opening ten minutes to clear off. The teams traded baskets throughout the second frame. CSKA ensured a comfortable 56:34 halftime lead. The situation did not improve for the home side in the third term. CSKA boosted the margin at 27-point mark heading into the fourth stanza. Khimki slowed their opponents in the final period but could not avoid the defeat. Andrey Vorontsevich (207-F-87) scored 28 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to pace the winners. He was named the MVP. The game lived up to the highest expectations as the teams came up with high-octane exciting performances. Russian Stars unleashed 45 points in the first period to take a 5-point lead. World Stars slowed their opponents down in the second frame. They jumped to a 70:67 halftime lead. But Russian Stars regained the control in the second half. They went on a 64:51 rally after the big break to claim victory. Alexey Shved (198-G-88, agency: Alti Sport) posted 27 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists, while Sergey Karasev (201-SG-93, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) contributed 17 points in the win.
