Both teams however will play in Division A next year. Denmark stormed past the hosts with a 24-11 surge in the first period. Bosnia and Herzegovina reduced to 10 points at the halftime as they won the second frame 17-14. The difference remained the same after 30 minutes of the game when both sides posted 18 points each in the third stanza. Bosnia and Herzegovina took the lead at the end of the game, but Jacob Larsen (204-PF-97) gave Denmark 67:66 advantage. Aleksic nailed three for 69:67, while again Jacob Larsen tied it all at 69:69. Switzerland led 59:49 early in the fourth period, while Menno Dijkstra (210-C-97) tied it all at 64:64. Polite Anthony however brought a late victory for his team as he scored the last free throw. Czech Republic grabbed a 22:9 lead although the teams exchanged the lead several times in the first period. Trailing 31:32, the Czechs created a 9-0 run to take 40:32 advantage. FYR Macedonia was too far to give up and reduced to 49:47 midway through the third period. Pecalevski David later tied it all at 69:69, but Czech Republic won the rest of the game for the final win. Belarus narrowed the gap in the second frame. They got within 5 points at halftime 43:38. But Czech Republic ignited a stunning 28:5 run to silence their opponents. Portugal started the game with an 18-17 lead, but Finland replied with a 20-15 run in the second period. FYR Macedonia however erupted with a 27-9 surge in the last stanza to seal the victory. It was Switzerland to start better and who took 17:15 lead at the end of the first period. England replied with three narrow victories in the rest of the game and clinched a 13-point win. England won the second period 16-7 and added 10-6 rally in the third period. Moreover they finished the game with 18-16 for the final result. Luke Mitchell (180-G-98) led the way with 11 points for the second straight win. Kintu Calvin poured in 9, whilst Wheatle Carl had 7. Holland grabbed 18:14 lead at the end of the first period and led 2 points at the halftime. They produced a 20-13 rally in the third period, however Denmark did all their best to recover. Rajovic Filip tied it all at 56:56 early in the fourth period, while Dembele gave Denmark 65:61 advantage. Holland meanwhile needed a 12-4 run in the last minutes to win the game. They managed to win the second frame 31-19 and led 59:32 at the halftime. The third period also belonged to the Israeli team that needed a 22-11 surge for more comfortable win. Israel reached 3-digit numbers at the end of the game and won the clash by 37 points. Mosindi David top-scored for the winners with 21 points and Kamari Amit netted 14. Bosnia and Herzegovina grabbed a 53:51 win in the last game of the first day. Bosnia and Herzegovina started the game with a narrow 8:7 lead and then Holland toed the game at the halftime. Again the hosts posted a 21-17 run in the third quarter and grabbed a 4-point lead after 30 minutes of the game. Holland managed to catch up with the opponents and tied the score at 51:51 when Menno Dijkstra (210-C-97) gave his team another chance. Nedim Dedovic (198-SF-97) however closed the game with a successful shot for Bosnia to win the opener. Amin Sijercic top-cored for the winners with 12 points and Fahrudin Manjgafic netted 10. Hungary added massive 22-8 rally in the third period and increased to 37 points deficit. Both teams scored 15 points in the last stanza for the final result in the game.
