Sweden - Portugal 51-46 Sweden held off Portugal to gain the second consecutive victory in Strumica. Oskar Holm (193-F/G-98) produced 14 points to lead the Scandinavian team. Sweden secured a 28:23 halftime lead. They extended the gap at 15-point mark at the final intermission. Portugal limited their counterparts to just 3 points in the fourth term but came up short of victory at the end. Sami Harun (185-G-98) had 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Lima answered with 9 points for Portugal.
Switzerland - Albania 72-61 Swtizerland held off Albania to improve at 1-1 record in Group D. Lopez scored 22 points to pace the Swiss team. They recorded a 36:29 halftime advantage. Albania narrowed the deficit at 6-point mark at the final break but scored just 10 points in the final term to surrender at the end. Martino tossed in 16 points for Switzerland. Celis Taflaj (195-G-98) responded with 23 points and 11 rebounds for Albania.
