FINALFrance - Spain 61-70 Spain are U16 European champions. They beat France in the title game in Udine tonight. Spain posted a 15:11 lead ten minutes into the game. They followed with a strong 17:9 rally in the second period to secure a 12-point halftime advantage. France poured in 41 points in the second half but Spain withheld the challenge and rolled to the title. Michael Caicedo (197-F-03) and Juan Nunez (182-PG-04) provided 21 points each for the champions. Armel Traore (200-SF-03), Yohan Traore (203-F-03) and Ousmane Dieng (198-G-03) netted 10 points each for France.
